The Spanish colours red and yellow dominate
the scene at this Iberic bar/restaurant where Inge waits tables.
While she is fairly new to the neighbourhood, she is now fully
immersed, busy serving tapas and excellent cocktails to shoppers,
tourists, and thirsty party goers.

I'm a waitress at Bar Gansa on Inverness Street.
How long have you lived / worked in the
area?
I've been here since June of '03, however long that is.
What is the best thing about working around
here?
The atmosphere is young and relaxed.
What do you think is the best buy / dish
/ cocktail in your shop / bar or on your menu at the moment?
Why?
Our cocktail called Latin Confusion is really popular.
What is your favourite part of the area
and why?
The fresh fruit and vegetables markets on Inverness are nice,
as well as the clothes shops in the Camden Market.
What is your favourite shop / bar / restaurant
and why?
I'm partial to Cottons for the food and drinks.
What is the best and busiest night to go
out - Fri or Sat and where would you go?
Friday night is the coolest.
Where would you say is the most desirable
street / area in town?
I tend to like Parkway because it's a little calmer.
Have you ever spotted a celeb in the area
and where did you see them?
There're always a lot of celebrities here and in the area.
What is everyone wearing at the moment
- name a must have fashion accessory?
Everybody seems to be getting themselves leg warmers.
If you want to go and relax, where would
you go and why?
I go for a walk in the park when I want to get away.
