Lingerie to look good nearly naked in

Feature

Sexy lingerie is something that both men and women adore. The problem is that few women have the body of a lingerie model and look good in a flaw-revealing g-string. With good bits and bad bits, most women have certain hang ups about their bodies when flaunting them in skimpy lingerie. The trick is to choose lingerie styles to make the most of your best bits.

The fab show How To Look Good Naked teaches women to love what they see by focusing on what they like about their bodies and making the most of them. Lingerie can cleverly disguise but it can also draw plenty of attention. When choosing lingerie, it’s important to focus on the good bits so your hang-ups pale in significance.

Take the show’s advice and stand in front of a mirror naked and identify the body parts that you love as well as the ones that you are less than comfortable with. You may not find an immediate cure for years of low self confidence, but you might realise that you draw attention away from any problem areas by focusing on the positive areas.

Breasts: Underwired bras will lift and give the illusion of fuller, perky breasts and create maximum cleavage whatever your cup size. However, for everyday wear, women over a C cup need better support than most plunge bras provide. With a well-fitting supportive bra, you can dramatically change the shape of your body and boost your confidence.

Arms or shoulders: If you feel too broad shouldered or are uncomfortable with your arms, choose bras and camisoles with wide straps or cap sleeves to help minimise them.

Waist and hips: If you feel as though you don’t have a defined waistline, make the most of your breasts. Look for a bra to accentuate your curves and cleavage to draw attention upward. If you are over-conscious, try a supportive two-piece camisole set for daytime or a bustier for special occasions. A supportive top or bustier will nip in your waistline and provide separation between the bust and the hips, creating the illusion of an hourglass figure.

Stomach: If you feel your stomach needs some minimising, try a supportive camisole top for everyday wear, which will smooth your tummy. Under clothing and out of your man’s sight, you can choose high cut support briefs with hidden tummy panels to dramatically smooth and shrink your stomach. For special occasions, look for lingerie that accentuates other areas that your are more comfortable with or choose a sexy bustier.

Bottom: Unless you have a perfectly pert bottom, avoid g-strings, which very few women actually look good in. Bikini briefs and boyshorts provide good coverage for bottoms, but are still sexy and flirty. If you want to accentuate your bottom, covering it up with a cheeky sheer brief looks far sexier than being over exposed in a g-string.

Legs: If your legs are short and wide you can lengthen and slim them by wearing high cut briefs. The more leg you show, the longer your legs will look so accentuate them. Add a pair of stockings or hold-ups to really make the most of them. If you want to hide your thighs but be sexy in the bedroom, babydolls are perfect as they cascade over the legs and minimise thighs.

Whatever you are trying to hide, remember that dark colours draw attention away from flawed areas. Steer clear of bold, patterned lingerie if you want to minimise any areas. However, when you want to accentuate your best bits, which is what confidence is all about, make more of an impact with a bit of colour.
