"I have dined here twice after reading a really good review in the ham & high. I wasn't disappointed. it is a small, tasteful dining room which actaully adds to its charm and makes it feel a bit exclusive, which is nice in a a local restaurant.

The food was really, really good, full of flavour. The onion soup reminded me of being in a first class French restaurant and the risotto was truly italian. The lamb was pink and tasty and the steak was one of the best I have eaten for a long time.
Service was friendly and informative and I had an excellent evening. The review was right - this is how a good local restaurant should be run.

I am a new regular, hope they keep it up."

"Have been to the Green Room on several occasions now (live locally). It's a great place and would definitely recommend it. The food is very good and the service is very friendly. The wine and food menu is a good selection, which is nicely supplemented with the daily specials.

All in all the place has a nice cozy feel, and works especially well, whether for a couple or catching up with friends. The prices are in line with the ambience/quality/food "

"Dining here was a real pleasure. I had the most amazing steak and my partner had the monkfish - both were of the best quality. The service was exceptional - with such attention to detail, yet warm and friendly.

The restaurant is small and cosy with a great atmosphere. Excellent food and service. Nice relaxed atmosphere. We had the chocolate fondant and panacotta - both just right. The wine list was good too.

I will definitely dine here again and would highly recommend it. "

"Dined here twice now and already it is my favourite restaurant. What initially attracted me was the decor - I kept passing & seeing this wonderful metallic wallpaper. But it is the food and the service that has really grabbed me. I felt really welcome and it was so friendly. The lamb was the best I have eaten for a long time and the sebass was full of flavour. I highly recomend it. Its a top class neighbourhood restaurant which the area truly needed."
