"It´s a nice place to have 4 or 5 pints of ale and hear some rock revival during your hollidays in London.Best regards."

"Just a response to the earlier reviewer who said that the atmosphere is unfriendly. I've never been in this pub and not ended up talking to someone I've never met before. It's not called the good mixer for nothing.

Maybe the 'coolness' of some of the clientele can be a bit intimidating at times but for a straight up and down boozer with a decent jukebox you can't do much better."

Set back from the rest of Camden this apparent cocktail bar turns out to be a rather rocky hangout for everyone interested in the more sociable side of metal. Inside it is revealed to be a double-sided bar with a pool table on one side and packed crowds congregated on the other. The air is pumped with classic rock tunes and the temperament of everyone is a little unfriendly and private since the majority of Camden has not happened on this place yet. Looking for cocktails I only find shooters at £2.50 each. The only down side to the place is that the interior feels like an old mans pub and yet it still feels like some kind of wooden youth hostel.

Overall this place gets 6/10. There is nothing false about this place its a very real hangout for some very real rock fans.

Hello, I'm on a mission to visit and rate every pub, club and bar in the UK. I know what your thinking but don't worry- i've got an artificial liver on standby.

"The word good certainly underestimates what this little dungeon of drinks has in store for its customers.

Being the local den for the intoxicating Amy Winehouse, The Darkness and other rock starlets, The Good Mixer provides a great showdown of celebrity spotting.

But for those thirst quenching few, the bar staff are on call for your namely concoction. A tip...forget ordering sweet tooth cocktails, it's all Rock n’ Roll at The Good Mixer so always request the deservedly Jagermeister!

With a jukebox at the ready and a pool table in the midst, The Good Mixer is the perfect chill out zone to endeavour a drink or three…come on it wouldn’t be Rock n’ Roll if you didn’t!
