No wedding for Brangelina - Mar 31 2008
It seems that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie did not tie the knot on Saturday.

There had been a flurry of reports stating they wed at the French Quarter Wedding Chapel, New Orleans, but the chapel’s co-owner Lou Ann Talavera told E!News

"No, they did not come in here yesterday and no, they did not get married here," chapel’s co-owner Lou Ann Talavera told E!News.

"I have no idea," Brad’s representative Cindy Guagenti apparently added. "I have nothing to do with any of this."

A source close to couple told E!Online that the couple aren’t even in New Orleans at the moment. Instead Brangelina, plus their four kids, are staying in Texas - where Brad is expected to be filming his new movie Tree Of Life until June.

And if Brad’s comments in the October 2006 addition of Esquire magazine are anything to go by, it seems a wedding won’t be on the cards until gay marriage is completely legalised in the US.

"Angie and I will consider tying the knot when everyone else in the country who wants to be married is legally able," he said at the time.

Baby girl for Angelina? - Feb 28 2008
Angelina Jolie is apparently expecting a baby girl with partner Brad Pitt.

The actress - who fuelled pregnancy rumours when she was snapped sporting a baby bulge last week - was thought to be carrying twins, but she’s now discovered she’s having a daughter, reports The Sun.

"Angelina has been told she is expecting a girl. She’s thrilled," a source said.

The mum-of-four is apparently planning to deliver her new addition in France in a tribute to her late mother Marcheline Bertrand, who was French-Canadian.

And the paper says Angie, 32, and 44-year-old Brad may even settle down there when their new baby arrives.

"Angelina is proud of her French roots and wants her latest addition to be born and raised there," said a source.

Angelina already has three adopted children - Maddox, six, Pax, four and three-year-old Zahara - and a biological daughter with Brad, one-year-old Shiloh.

Jolie displays a ’bump’ - Feb 25 2008

If the bump on her tummy is any indication, Angelina Jolie really is pregnant.

The actress created a stir at the Spirit Awards in Los Angeles when she showed up with partner Brad Pitt on her arm and a noticeably pregnant bulge.

Angelina ignored reporters’ questions on the awards show carpet, but People magazine reported on its website that a source close to the couple confirmed that she and Brad are "thrilled to be adding to their brood".

Brad’s publicist, Cindy Guagenti, declined to comment.

Angelina and Brad are parents of one-year-old daughter, Shiloh, and three children adopted from Cambodia, Ethiopia and Vietnam. Their adopted children are Maddox, six; Pax, four; and Zahara, three.

Angelina’s appearance helped give a theme to the Spirit Awards, where the big winner was the teen pregnancy comedy Juno, taking awards for best independent film, best actress for Ellen Page and best first screenplay for Diablo Cody.

Angelina collapses on flight? - Feb 21 2008
Angelina Jolie apparently collapsed on an 18 hour flight.

The Oscar-winning actress - rumoured to be pregnant with twins - reguired medical treatment and was given oxygen when the long-haul flight from Iraq landed in Los Angeles, according to the Sun.

Biography

Angelina Jolie Voight was born on June 4 1975 the daughter of actors Jon Voight and Marcheline Bertrand.  Raised by her mother after her parents divorced when she was just a year old, Angelinagre up in New York where she kept snakes and lizards as pets and became entranced by the movies.

Her family moved to LA when Angelina was eleven and she soon began working on her acting career, enrolling in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute where ahe appeared in several productions.  Despite her abilities Angelina was teased during her time at Beverley Hills High School - far from being beautiful and popular she was skinny, with glasses and braces and wore second hand clothes.  At 14 she dropped out of theatre classes, harbouring dreams of becoming a funeral director, and began cutting herself.  Angelina began a rebellious period of her life, moving out of home and in with her boyfriend.

At around the same time she was taken on by Finesse Model Management and took jobs in the US and Europe, she also appeared in several music videos for the likes of Meat Loaf and Lenny Kravitz.  Then, at 16, she returned to acting and rekindled her relationship with her father.  She appeared in several of her brother’s student films before, in 1993 she was offered a role in sci-fi flick Cyborg 2.  Several equally poor productions followed before Angelina landed a role in Hackers, which was a cult hit and threw the actress in the direction of Jonny Lee Miller, whom she would soon marry.

Little known films such as Foxfire and Mojave Moon followed but it was the Golden Globe winning George Wallace that got Angelina noticed and Pushing Tin, which co-starred Billy Bob Thornton and The Bone Collector helped her on her way to global stardom.  However it was her part as messed up teenager Lisa Rowe in Girl, Interrupted which won her her place on the Hollywood walk of fame.  The role won her an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress as well as several other accolades.

Action movies Gone In 60 Seconds and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider followed and made sure Angelina was admired the world over by men and women alike.  Meanwhile her personal life became just as fascinating than her on screen performances.  Having divorced Jonny Lee Miller she married Pushing Tin costar Billy Bob Thornton, famously they wore vials of blood around their neck, however in 2003 they also divorced despite having adopted a Cambodian orphan, Maddox.  At the same time she admitted she had had a relationship with a female costar on the set of Foxfire.  Meanwhile she continued with her now much publicised humanitarian work, as a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN and her film career, appearing in Alexander and Taking Lies among others.

In 2005 Angelina took a leading role in Mr & Mrs Smith, opposite Brad Pitt.  Although the movie itself was widely panned the burgeoning relationship between Angelina and Brad, who was at the time in the process of splitting from Jennifer Aniston, made sure it was a hit.  The relationship was also a success, in January 2006 Angelina announced that she was pregnant, just months after adopting second child, Ethiopian Zahara, she gave birth to Shiloh Jolie-Pitt.

Angelina has confirmed that she is working on a screen adaptation of Beowulf, A Mighty Heart and Atlas Shrugged.
