Helena Bonham Carter’s West End debut has been pushed back.

Helena was due to star in Rubenstien’s Kiss with Gary Kemp in Novemeber but thanks to scheduling problems, fans will have to wait until the new year to catch Helena on the stage. A spokesperson has confirmed that the show will still go ahead.

Helena Bonham Carter is confused by reports that she gave birth this month.

The kooky actress must have done a double take when she saw July’s press in the USA. News spread like wildfire that she had had a baby on the 24th, when in fact her only child, son Billy Ray was born last October meaning that another child so soon would be near impossible. Articles congratulating Helena and her partner Tim Burton graced the pages of America’s biggest publications thoroughly baffling the couple and their ’people’.

The delightfully eccentric actress and Belsize Park resident Helena Bonham Carter is reportedly expecting her first child.

Helena and boyfriend Tim Burton met when he directed Planet of the Apes, which starred the actress. Both are said to be ’ecstatic’!

But the news hasn’t pleased the makers of Helena’s new film - about Anne Boleyn. They are just hoping they can film it quickly before her bump starts to show - says one insider!

Biography

Helena Bonham Carter was born 26 May 2020 in London’s Golders Green. She was born into a family of politicians, actors and aristocracy. She is the Great Grand Daughter of late Prime Minister H.H. Asquith.

Helena pursued her dream to become an actress and landed her first film role at the age of 18, as Lady Grey, in Trevor Nunn’s Lady Jane. Her next role in the movie A Room with a view propelled her into the premier league.

She has been type-casted as a ’period’ actress after acting (and wearing corsets!) in nearly all of the following roles Howards End, Wings Of The Dove and Hamlet (1990), To avoid such stereotyping she played the part of weirdo Marla in the critically acclaimed film Fight Club alongside Brad Pitt.

She fell in love and lived with Kenneth Branagh after playing his love interest in Frankenstein, however they split after five years in 1999.  Helena enjoyed a brief fling with comedy actor Steve Martin but soon found true love, with director Tim Burton, during the filming of Planet of the Apes.  She has since given birth to a son, Billy Ray Burton.

Recently Helena has dedicated much of her time to appearing in Tim’s own wacky films, among them Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Big Fish but she is set to appear in 2007’s Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
